Leading Cadet
- Principles of Flight
- Airmanship Knowledge
- Basic Navigation with Map and Compass
Senior Cadet
Choose 3 subjects from:
- Aircraft handling and Flying Techniques
- Air Power
- Piston Engine Propulsion
- Jet Engine Propulsion
- Rocketry
- Airframes
- Avionics and Aircraft Electrical Systems
- Military Aircraft Systems
- Basic Air Navigation
- Basic Principles of Pilot Navigation
- Advanced Radio and Radar
- Data Communications
Master Cadet
Choose an alternative 3 subjects from the list above. Cadets must be aged 16 or over to be eligible for Master Cadet status.
Instructor Cadet.
Successful completion of a Methods of Instruction (MOI) course which will enable the cadet to teach small groups of cadets. An Instructor Cadet can be recognised by the award of a yellow lanyard worn on the left shoulder. Cadets must be aged over 16 to be eligible for Instructor Cadet.
